Beautiful grand soundscape meets sophisticated electronica.
'Tale Remixed' is the remixed album for the debut album released in 2014 from Sontag Shogun, an combination of analog and digital electronics + piano project based in Brooklyn, New York, comprised of former members from [the] slowest runner [in all the world]. In spite of it only being two years since Sontag Shogun debuted, they have already toured extensively throughout the US, Canada, EU, China, and Japan, where they drew the attention of many listeners, and also performed with artists such as Hauschka, Mark McGuire, Julia Kent, and Anoice.
This time, Indian Wells, Jake Chudnow, Anoice, Perdurabo, Takahiro Kido, Hakobune, Radicalfashion, Schneider TM, and more artists, who all are active at the forefront of the neo-classical/electronica/ambient music scene, added electronica elements to Sontag Shogun's quiet world outlined on the debut album 'Tale' crafted by mixing lush piano melodies, with an electric sound and vocals that engage the heart and mind of all listeners. This remixed album includes awesome tracks on a level with those of Aphex Twin's '26 Mixes for Cash' album! Additionally, Giuseppe Ielasi and KASHIWA Daisuke took charge of the mastering works, and Takahiro Kido from Anoice was responsible for the post production, meaning an assurance of accurate sound quality.
If you order the album on the Ricco Label webstore, you will also receive two exclusive post cards (one is photographed by Jeremy Young of Sontag Shogun in Iceland, and the other, edited by Takahiro Kido).
